Hear What Other Parents Have to Say

Cellsense receives positive feedback from our clients about the company and our exceptional services on a regular basis. Below are just a few of the gratifying comments made by some of our proud parents.

Dale Elliot wrote the following after becoming the first Australian paraplegic to skydive, on the 24th of October, 2008:

Before becoming a paraplegic I was a skydiver with 37 jumps. I really wanted to get back into the sport as I had great fun jumping and I really missed it. It is very important to get as much of your life back again after a trauma as serious as a spinal injury. Paraplegia affects every part of your life in a big way, it can be very stressful.

I know that people think that I am taking a big risk when I skydive, but I feel it’s a much greater risk to not collect and store my child’s cord blood at birth for future possible use.

Brock is our Second Child to have his cord blood collected with you. His Older Brother Jack was Born on 7/8/2004 and we know it is the right decision for us. I am glad we've got stem cells put aside just in case, because science is amazing and forever changing. Some people may think we are crazy but why throw away their own biological material when it could be used to help them (hopefully it will never be needed but at least we have it).

We chose your organisation because of how friendly and helpful the staff were. I was able to ask any questions and got great replies and help. We had contacted other organisations but they couldn't give us straight answers and did beat around the bush a bit - so we went with a company that we could trust and that I could contact at anytime. It was just so simple and easy to have the kit and to have it all taken care of. So a big thanks to all the staff at Clayton. When we go back for a third we know who we'll be visiting again!

What a wonderful age we live in! And what a wonderful company to deal with! After thinking we would never have any, we have now been blessed with 3 wonderful children. They are so precious that we never considered NOT collecting the cord blood. After hours of research, we decided to use Cell Sense for the first collection and we were so impressed with their service, that we then used them again for the subsequent collections.

There are new discoveries every day in the medical world, and who knows what the future is going to hold. We hope we may never need to use the cord blood, but we are certainly much happier knowing that it is there. We averaged the price out over 18 years, and it came to less than the cost of a coffee a fortnight!

After having 3 collections in 3 years with Cell Sense, I feel as though I am part of the family. The friendly staff are always willing to help, and have been extremely professional. What a shame there is not going to be a fourth collection!

Andrew and Melissa wrote the following on the 14th of February, 2006:

We had heard bits and pieces about cord blood storage from news articles and television documentaries for more than a year before we finally decided to go ahead with the procedure ourselves. We knew of no-one else at the time who had gone through the experience either, so we were left to our own devices to research providers of the storage service. After looking at a few different companies we choose Cell Sense mainly because of their facility location, commitment to research in this field and their competitive pricing.

Cell Sense were the absolute professionals from our first conversation. With only a short time before our son was born they had wasted no time in sending everything we needed - which arrived the next day! Our kit and all instructions were easy to follow and we were put in contact with their most wonderful and experienced representative here in Perth. We felt very confident from the very outset that everything would be okay and it was. The collection at the hospital, which was at a typically terrible hour, went smoothly and in no way invaded our privacy. It was all a wonderful experience and we cannot say enough about Cell Sense's professionalism, organisation and fantastic attending representative.

We would go with them again without hesitation!

Merren and Trent wrote the following on the 11th of January, 2006:

When we first found out we were having triplets the immediate health of our babies was our only concern.  Later in the pregnancy, with everything going well, we learned about the future possibilities of stem cells.  Storing our babies' cord blood was a step that we felt we had to take.

We had two placentas but successfully harvesting the cord blood in our situation wasn't guaranteed.  Cell Sense worked closely with us in unusual and difficult circumstances and we had a very positive outcome.

Hopefully, we'll never need our cord blood but if we do, we'll know we made the right decision.

Libby and Lou wrote the following on the 8th of March, 2006:

We arranged for Cell Sense at very short notice - one month prior to our baby's delivery - and Cell Sense's service was fast, easy and seamless.  After completing our paperwork, we received our kit from Cell Sense which we simply had to take into the hospital at delivery.  Cell Sense then arrived at the hospital within an hour of delivery to pick up our cord blood - we didn't have to do anything.

On top of that, Cell Sense's staff were very friendly and payment was easy - we had instalment options to choose from and we were pleased to note there was no annual service fee (unlike some other providers).  Soon after delivery, we received a courtesy letter advising us our sample was a success.  At the end of the day, we feel content knowing our daughters cord blood stem cell's are being stored by such a capable and reputable provider.

Kind regards,

Libby and Lou Cordone, Victoria
