Step 1. Register Today

To help give you peace of mind, we recommend registering with us well in advance of your due date so that you will be prepared with your personalised blood collection kit. To make the process as smooth as possible,

Step 2. Receive your Personalised Blood Collection Kit

During the 34th week of your pregnancy we will send you the ASCH personalised blood collection kit, which is equipped to ensure maximum viability of your precious cells. You'll take this kit to the hospital with you, and ASCH will formally notify your Doctor and Hospital of your intention to store your baby's cord blood or arrange an ASCH midwife to perform the collection.

Step 3. Notify us to send a courier

Once your baby is born and the cord blood, is collected, telephone us on the number provided on the collection kit. Your collection kit will be picked up and taken directly to our state-of-the-art cryogenic laboratory, for immediate processing and storage. Our courier is the number one transporter of medical and diagnostic specimens in Australia.

Step 4. Relax and enjoy your baby

You will receive a letter from ASCH detailing the volume stored, your laboratory reference number and confirmation that your sample has been stored securely. Your baby's cord blood stem cells are then available to you at any time in the future, should you need them.
