Management Team

At Cell Sense we are proud to have some of the best people in the pharmaceutical and health industry working on our Stem Cell technology. Below is a short description on the members of the management team.

Tony Coulepis
Chief Executive Officer

Dr Anthony (Tony) Coulepis currently holds a number of positions including:

CEO of Alexanders Securities Limited, a publicly listed company (ASX:ALE);
CEO of Stem Cell Healthcare & Technologies Limited;
CEO of Cell Sense Pty Ltd;
The Strategic Industry Advisor of Innovation Dynamics Pty Ltd;
A non-Executive Director of Medical Developments International Pty Ltd, an Australian publicly listed company (ASX:MVP);
The Industry Advisor of Box Hill Institute; and
A member of a number of other Advisory positions within the biotechnology and life science industry.

Prior to being appointed to the above positions, Tony was the “founding” Executive Director and CEO of the Australian Biotechnology Association’s (ABA), which he transformed to become AusBiotech Ltd, Australia’s peak biotechnology industry organisation. Tony developed and implemented AusBiotech’s first Business Plan, titled, “Growing Australian Biotechnology” and also developed the organisation’s second Business Plan, titled, “Globalising Australian biotechnology”.

Tony has over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology and life sciences industries and graduated with a Ph.D in microbiology from Monash University, specialising in Virology (Hepatitis A).

		Dr Ian Lewis Medical Director Dr Ian Lewis graduated in medicine from the University of Adelaide and undertook training in haematology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) and the Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science (IMVS). After completing a PhD he undertook further training at the University of Minnesota where he developed an interest in stem cells, in particular in cord blood stem cells. He is currently a Senior Consultant Haematologist at the RAH and IMVS with clinical interests in stem cell transplantation and the treatment of leukaemia. He continues to have a strong research focus and is especially interested in developing techniques for the expansion of cord blood stem cells as well as exploring alternative uses of stem cells.

		Jane Houston National Services Manager Jane Houston has a 15 year history in the medical field. Throughout her professional life Jane’s focus has been to provide the most up to date information combined with exceptional service to families and Medical professionals. Jane and the National Customer Care Team make the process from parent’s decision to store their child’s stem cells through birth and cord blood collection, the simplest, most friendly and informed experience possible.
