Formed following the merger of private cord blood banks Biocell and Cellsense in December 2008, Australian Stem Cell HealthCare Pty Ltd (ASCH) has emerged as Australia's largest and premier cord blood banking service.  Our aim is to provide excellence in all aspects of umbilical cord blood stem cell banking, leaving Australian families secure in the knowledge that they have provided their children with the best possible opportunity to benefit from future medical breakthroughs in stem cell research.

At ASCH our expertise is in the collection, processing, storage and release of umbilical cord blood stem cells. ASCH complies with the Australian code of Good Manufacturing Practice.

Combining our Resources

Combining the resources of Biocell and Cellsense has provided much needed stability within the industry in Australia and resulted in a number of benefits for our clients.  Not only can ASCH offer greater financial security and the availability of a more extensive service, we are also now able to commence the important process of developing and implementing clinical trials and clinical applications involving stem cells.  ASCH is now already well advanced in the planning phase of a clinical trial in diabetes and hopes to follow that with other clinical trials in the near future.
